SMS Program & Opt-In

Program: Dispatch Desk job alerts and booking confirmations, sent for the plumbing shops that use Dispatch Desk.

How people opt in

1. Shop owners: on the shop signup form the owner enters a mobile number and ticks an unchecked box agreeing to receive job alerts by text. The form cannot be sent without it.
2. Callers: when a customer calls the shop, the Dispatch Desk assistant asks: "Is [number] the best number to call or text you about this job?" Only when the caller says yes (or presses 1) is a booking-confirmation text sent to that number. Each yes is logged with the call ID, number and time.

We never send texts to anyone who has not opted in, and we never buy or rent phone lists.
